8 things I look forward to:

-being home with my snuggy :) - matt hates it when I call him that. hehe. Too bad I'm in Mississippi and he can't get me for that.

-winning the lottery- it's going to be a lot of fun.

-Christmas - I mean who isn't looking forward to it, like right now? Ok when I was a kid I would love Christmas so much that I would just find stuff around the house and wrap it up and put it under the tree. We always put our tree up around Thanksgiving and all that waiting for Christmas was torture. So we would have Christmas on December 1st and then again on December 5th...8th...15th... we were realllly reeeeaally bored. Parents, please get your kids cable tv. please. After a while we ran out of things to unwrap and would just start wrapping up everyday items - tooth brush, toilet paper, spatula... Later my mom would have to break up a fight when I yelled at Marlene for using "my" spatula. But yeah I guess it's safe to say I'm looking forward to Christmas.

-The first day of Fall- it's my favorite time of year. And I love to wear long sleeved clothes and jeans and big jackets. Oh no, I have to get the gas turned on at my house- rats! I hate winter.

-Seeing my sorority sisters this coming weekend and then my jbfc sister's!

-Getting all boxes unpacked and settling (finally) into my new home.

-Going into the Peace Corps. - I don't know if I'm going to do this before or after I get my masters but matt and I are planning on applying together. Hopefully they'll take us!

-GETTING MARRIED. I can't wait to get married but sometimes I'm scared I'm not mature enough for marriage. But then again, is anybody? I just wish I could snap my fingers and someone else could plan the wedding and pay for it for me. :)



8 things I did yesterday:

-hung pictures on the wall for my sister in her new apt. pics to come soon. p.s. I think that Melissa's new apartment was built specifically for a "little person." She's taller than her fridge. And I had some difficulty in the shower. i mean, I'm no giant but who the heck is this shower head spraying water on? The munchkin kids? Mississippi is a strange land.

-Drove/rode in a car.

-watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

-Watched a VIDEO from when I was like 12 of me and my best friend pretending we were nerds doing a news show about the Cenozoic era. I'm actually going to see if i can dub it on a dvd tomorrow and fix the sound so me and my bff's can preview the video for laughs!

-I peed in like 7 strange toilets yesterday. yuck. I hate germs.

-vacuumed - I love to vacuum.

-Sang at the top of my lungs - "the first cut is the deepest" when I was trying not to fall asleep while I was driving myself home last night. "The fiiiirst cuuuut is the dddddeeeepppest..."


8 things I wish I could do:

Well this is a tricky one. Anything serious that I wish I could do I will try my hardest to accomplish in my lifetime. Anything is pretty much possible. Well almost.

But I WISH I could...

-Be Mary Poppins - she's everything I'm not. She's practically perfect in every way. I wonder what her tape measure would say about me. I think it would measure me up to be "silly and doesn't put things back where they belong, always late." But that's a big wish because everyone knows there's only ONE mary.

-fly. Like have giant wings and fly out my window and back lightening fast. So that I can perch on the roof outside my window. I would want to be lightening fast because I mean what if the phone rings... I have to be fast to answer it. Oh, I guess I will have to wish for supersonic hearing too then.

-go on a cruise right now.

-Have a baby pig at my new place. He would be the cutest ever. We could dress him up and name him Stuart...or Friedrich... or Friedle after my uncle. I used to call him "my swine" when I was little *and could speak german* I would say "Wo ist meine Schwein? Ich liebe dich! meine Schwein!" - Where is my pig. I love you my pig! He looked at me with disgust (apparently calling someone a swine in German is the lowest of the low) Then my mom would have to explain my deep love for pigs. I just loved him like I loved pigs. He was my fav. Uncle. It's sad that he died. I wish Fridele was still here. Oo! That's a good number 5...

-I wish my uncle Fridele could be here for my wedding but I bet he's got a front row seat up there in Heaven.

-Eat a large tub of Ice Cream. Right now. Like it would appear and it would be my fav. kind - Banana pudding oh or my other favorite... Moose Tracks. I haven't had ice cream in a while. Eating ice cream always makes me feel like a kid.

-afford to get married on April 17th *hey, maybe this wish will come true?

-crawl back in bed and watch tv for the rest of the day. but I have to work :(.


8 shows I watch:

I LOVE TV so I'm only narrowing it down to things I watch weekly instead of say... Dance your ass off, The newly wed show, john and kate plus 8 etc. that I catch every now and then. And I also won't count shows that I know every episode of like a different world, the cosby show, full house etc...

-Grey's Anatomy

-Army Wives

-Samantha Who

-Desperate Housewives

-Gilmore Girls (I just started re-watching all of the seasons - oh Rory you should have ended up with Jess)

- THE OFFICE - probably my favorite

-Parks and Recreation - New show - you should try it if you love the office.

-LOST - I LOVE LOST

-ENTOURAGE - one of my favorites period.

-WEEDS - also good but has gotten kinda weird I think it'll jump the shark soon.

-The United States of Tara - so good and I wish I could watch it right now!

I'm sure there are more I'm obsessed with TV especially since I've been living without it for like 2 years!
