Do I know who Alex Karras is? Heck No. Is this quote genius? Borderline. Is it fitting for my current situation? Likely. So word to the wise: be tough in your soul.

Speaking of toughness-Life is sometimes tough. It's like you're cruisin' along on Awesome Highway and some rain comes down and clouds your vision of the road. You don't want to fight the rain but sometimes in life you have to go to the mattresses. Even when you don't want to. Even when it's forced upon you. Because in some situations if you don't you'll drive off Awesome road and land in a field of Disappointment. Where am I getting these analogies? Not sure. I can't explain poetry, I am poetry. Got it people?

So I'll go to the mattresses with kindness.


In Other News:

Now that Ricky's out of the closet I should probably stop sending him love letters with pictures of my mom's dogs in sweaters. I'm so disappointed. Does he not know what "Livin' La Vida Loca" has done for me? "Upside, inside out she's livin la vida loca, She'll push and pull you down, livin la vida loca..." I mean that's like TRUE poetry. I guess his Vida was much more Loca than what we suspected.
Matt and I have locked in our Photobooth for our wedding. YAY! FUN!

Went to my wedding site yesterday and picked out where everything is going to go. I can't believe it's only 6 months away. I gotta get those save the date thingies out. Am i the worst bride? We're taking pics for them next Tuesday!

Bad NEWS - We won't be having penguins at our wedding. I know you're all disappointed but I was thinking we could bring leelieu and dax and dress them in penguin suits. don't tell matt, you all know how he feels about "costumes" on animals.

Went out with some of the best friends in the world last night. Went to see a band called "The Orkids." They're based in Athens - my lil sister's childhood best friend is the lead singer and her hubby-to-be is a guitarist/singer. You can hear some of their songs on their website.
