Gimme back my bon bons!

Sometimes a girl just needs a bit of chocolate!

So, the boyfriend and I got into a bit of a spat o
ver a chocolate bon bon tonight. Before I delve into the events of the evening, let me lay some ground work.

This is matt ---------------------------->

He appears to be a normal, sleek, gentlemen enj
oying a day at the lovely beach. But underneath the charming smile is a food-lovin' fat kid. Matt and I will say our "good nights" and hop into bed. I turn on whatever show I'm watching on the internet and routinely he listens to an audio book on his ipod, this is our "night-night" ritual. Shortly after I fall asleep something seems to be happening. I wake up in the morning and his side of the bed has dishes piled high. Tootsie Roll wrappers...a couple of bowls of ice cream, a turkey leg (i wish i was joking about the giant turkey leg, but that's an entirely different blog all together), maybe some left over pizza crusts... you get my point? Matt eats like no one I've ever met. He will buy a sleeve, A SLEEVE, of candy bars and an hour after we get home, WOOSH - GONE!! I have even gone as far as buying things I know Matthew won't like to eat. It's like he gets bored and eats it anyway! His taste buds are completely nondiscriminatory, Exhibit A:

<---------- This is Matt eating his first oyster (yuck)
He said he wanted to name it before he ate it...he named it Gertrude.

I'm sorry if that offends anyone out there name
d Gertrude.

Well this evening I
got home from work and had some of my mom's homemade soup

- Side note, what is it about mo
ms? I swear i can make the same soup she makes but i just doesn't taste as good, I'm convinced it's the love they add to the recipe-

Anyway. I was enjoying my soup, Matt was out in the garage working on his scooter. (another hilarious post for a later date) After I was finished I went into my room to pull out my stash of bon bons. I keep them so that I don't go crazy craving chocolate. I've been on this weight loss challenge, its a whole thing...anyway i cut out sodas and chocolate along with any fast food. Ask me how I'm doing? Well, that's not important. What is important is that I went to get one of my bon bons and realized they were missing! "Matt!" I ran down to the basement, already knowing the answer, and asked... "Have you seen my bon bons?" (Okay, so I realize that this makes me a fat kid as well but that's why I limit my chocolate intake) What does he do? He smiles at me and says "I owe ya?" UGH! he's such a fat kid! So, I settled it - the way we usually do in our relationship...with a ransom note :) . "I hope you didn't want those Cadbury Eggs on your desk," I shouted as I stormed inside. I could hear him going "awwww..."

Truth is.. I don't like Cadbury Eggs, not enough chocolate... and too much gooey stuff...but sometimes in life you have to make sacrifices for a good joke. So I found his chocolate eggs, unwrapped one, took a big juicy bite out of it (I'm not gonna lie...I kinda liked it) and then wrote this note:
For those of you with eyes like mine, this is what it says..

"IF you EVER WANT TO SEE YOUR Precious CADBURY EGGS AGAin, Or if you don't want them to turn out like this...
REPLENISH WHAT YOU STOLE!"

Half Eaten Egg & Bon Bon Wrapper

Of course Matt comes in when I'm snapping a picture of it...dies laughing and it completely forfeits my seriousness about my bon bons. But I wasn't lying, I did hide the others. Where? I can't tell because the culprit himself may be reading this. Or his Spies! So Matthew, if you're reading- buy me some Bon Bons!

Honestly, Matt is one of the most awesome people I know. He's my best friend and love of my life. So what...we show our love through petty pranks... I throw icy water on him when he's showering and he drives off when I reach for the door handle to get in the car. Hey, at least things will always be interesting :)
